Mesh object integration.

Just testing how the Krakatoa mesh object works in conjunction with the particle render. The answer seems to be - it works!

really nice test there.
Could you please describe your work flow a little bit more closely.

I assume you did two renderings.
One with the particles and obscuration object in Krakatora and an other with the shaded object right?

Hey Raphael - yup that’s right, two renders. No obscuration layers needed, I just added a ‘Krakatoa Mesh’ tag on the cylinder. There’s some stepping, apparently caused by the collision object being the same as the emitter, but it’s pretty nice for 10mins setup and 30mins render. Peaks at around 3.5million particles.
