meshing geo with frost

would be awesome to have the option of choosing vertices, edges, or surface when picking geometry parts (and not particleS) for the meshing!

right now it seems to just choose the vertices

That’s because Frost meshes points, and the only points we felt worth meshing were the vertices.
Do you mean you want to be able to mesh the CENTERS of the Edges and Faces?
Should it be a list of checkboxes like
“Mesh Source Options”
[] Use Vertices
[] Use Edge Centers
[] Use Face Centers

Also Edges are not well-defined in a TriMesh. Two adjacent faces have one edge each, and this would create two overlapping points which we would have to filter out. Also, all the necessary data like Normals, Vertex Colors and other Mapping Channels would need to be interpolated from the neighbor vertices, which would add some overhead. So I am not sure I am crazy about the idea… But it is worth discussing.

Yes, I was also looking for sort of this option to actually stitch volume/pool of particles to plane next to it to make continuous sea plane.
