A couple of people who used deadline in the past were wondering if the mini job monitor will make a comeback at one point in 6.x?
Definitely not during 6.x, and there aren’t any plans to add it in the future.
With the new Monitor though, you should be able create a layout similar to the old mini monitor, and then pin that layout so that you can quickly switch to it (see attached). You can then use filters to look for the specific jobs you want. You then get the full context menu for you jobs, instead of the trimmed down version that was in the mini monitor.

Although, im sure they liked the convenience of having that in addition to the main monitor, and the drag’n’drop of jobs into it. That was nice 
Don’t forget the new global “monitor layouts” tab under “monitor settings” in the repo options!
I have set different default monitor layouts for different user groups and also pinned some of them as well, for super easy access + the pinned layouts have keyboard shortcuts.
Maybe this helps as well?
(there is a little bug that stops the global monitor layouts from being re-ordered in “monitor settings” - fixed in beta 8…)
