Is FumeFx installed? Does this file exist on the machine that you’re rendering on? Is the plugin.ini file updated to include the FumeFX plugin files? Note that if max is setup to use user profiles, the plugin.ini file for the logged in use is used, as opposed to the plugin.ini file in the max root directory.

If your render doesn’t require this plugin to successfully render, you can check the Ignore Missing DLLs box under the Render tab in the max submission dialog.
