I’m trying to get VRay to run on windows and linux. I’ve figured out that for the vray plugin you just specify on separate lines the two locations of the vray executables for windows/linux. However, I also need to do that with some environment variables…
Deadline doesn’t support platform-specific environment variables in the job properties yet, but it is something that’s on the wishlist.
Are these paths going to be the same across all jobs? If so, you could modify the Deadline plugin to set them, and then you wouldn’t have to worry about setting them in the job environment variables. Let me know if this is the case, and if so, can you confirm that you’re rendering with vray standalone (just need to know what Deadline plugin needs to be modified).
