Monitor is unable to connect to Repository

Hey guys,

we have to following problem with only one workstation, which appeared after our colleague changed his windows password:

The Monitor was unable to connect to the specified Repository (\FHS-W001\deadlinerepository).Failed to register the client with the selected repository. Consult log files for further information.

at Deadline.Applications.DeadlineApplicationManager.CreateDataController(RepositoryConnectionSettings connSettings)
at Deadline.Applications.DeadlineApplicationManager.Connect(RepositoryConnectionSettings connSettings, Boolean updateScriptManager)
at Deadline.Monitor.MonitorManager.Connect(RepositoryConnectionSettings connectionSettings, Boolean updateScriptManager)

The workstation is able to connect to the repository folder via network, the certification file is secured via password. If I type the wrong password an according error message is popping up, so the correct password is needed. I guess there is a connection, but deadline refuses the client to connect. We already reinstalled the client several times but nothing works.

Are they matching versions? do you have the ‘secrets’ option enabled and is the machine registered?

Everything worked just fine before he changed the windows password.

does he have write access to the repo?

There is a “deadlineuse” in network access which has read/write access.
