Monitor settings not being saved

Tools -> Options
Uncheck the checkboxes for “Change Color Of Jobs That Accumulate Errors” and “Change Color Of Tasks That Accumulate Errors”
Save layout
Close monitor
Relaunch monitor
Settings are back to default (checked)
