Monitor 'Status' column no longer shows active machine count

Hi

One piece of information I often use in DL5 to get an overview of the rendering status at a glance is the current active slaves per job value, which is in the ‘Status’ column, ie ‘Active (30)’.

Can with either have this back, or alternatively add a new column for active slaves? Even with only a few jobs on the queue there doesn’t seem to be a quick way to check out how many machines are currently working on each of the active jobs.

(The producers use this column almost exclusively to check out how much of the farm they have working for their particular project compared to others, they’ll be lost and no doubt complain constantly without it)

Or am I being completely blind and there is a column or other reporting in the job list for active slaves on individual jobs? I’m struggling to find it if so.

thanks,

Thanks for catching this! It was an oversight on our part. This will be fixed in beta 16.

Cheers,

Hi

It’s great that this is back, but it’s not terribly reliable - after first opening monitor it is accurate, but after a short while it’s disconnected from what is actually happening, check the attached jpg. The info above the tasks display is fine, the value in parenthesis in the status column is in accurate - restart monitor and it is fine so it would appear to be a refresh issue(?).

thanks,

Because the job list and task list are updated independently, there can be a bit of a discrepancy between the data that they show. Do the counts eventually sync up again?
