I’m wondering how difficult would it be to implement multi-level column sorting in Monitor in the vein of Excel sorting. it seems like I can sort (no pun intended) of get it to work by sorting columns one after another but it seems iffy. I usually try to sort tasks by Status and Progress but it never quite sticks.
Sorting by one column and then another should be working.
I’m actually not familiar with multi-level sorting in Excel. Can you explain a bit how it works?

Basically you choose a column and put it in a list. Then you prioritize that list so that it sorts based on the priority. I attached an image from Excels sort dialog window. This can be found in Data -> Sort
P.S. It does seem to work, but it doesn’t seem to keep up with the faster updating columns like Progress or Task Time. I generally sort by Status as my main sort then by Progress, but Progress never sticks although it does keep all of the Status “Rendering” jobs at the top.

Thanks for the info! We can add this to the wishlist for a potential future release. I guess this could be a “pinned sorting” system where you could set up different sorts and apply them.

Yeah it would be nice with future releases. It is just a superficial issue any ways. I still get the information i need, I just would like to sort it better.
