multiple limit groups

I might need to use multiple limit groups soon, I would like to know if there was many user how already use multiple limit groups. Is there any problems, with it?



What is I have 2 limit groups each with different setting, the first one using a blacklist list the second one using a white list… how will this translate, will the list be concatenated or will one of the limit group will be more important then the second one.

Hi Sylvain,



You shouldn’t run into any problems using multiple limit groups. Deadline treats each limit group separately, so it will try to obtain a limit group “stub” for each limit group the job requires. If it can’t collect all required stubs, then it will move along to try and dequeue another job.
