No idea at the moment.
Weird problems over here, I have a BUNCH of tasks assigned to the same node and all of them are sitting in a “Waiting to start” state. The job itself is set to fail a task after 120 min but these have been hung up for almost 2 days… I am assuming because the tasks aren’t actually rendering but just waiting to render? Still, not sure why I have multiple tasks getting synchronously assigned to the same node.
Do you have the logs from that slave for the couple of days that this occurred? If so, can you post them so we can have a look? It sounds like this particular slave may have had some connection issues, so hopefully the logs have some information to explain what’s going on.
Looks like you’re on Beta 12. Some fixes where made with regard to tasks in Beta 13 that may potentially address this issue. Let us know if it helps. If not, we’ll keep digging.
I just nuked all the logs on practically everything (troubleshooting another issue at the moment with VRay proxies). I will let the logs collect overnight and check the farm tomorrow to see if we have anything come up in the morning.
And I will upgrade to the latest beta tomorrow as well actually.
