Instance Geometry Animation Timing
- Added “Use Time 0”/“Use Current Time” options.
- “Use AbsTime Channel” and “Use TimeOffset Channel” have been replaced by a single GeomTime channel. (Should any of these be changed?)
Error Reporting Window
Errors are now displayed in a log window instead of the MAXScript listener. By default this log window will pop up when an error occurs. It can also be displayed manually by clicking the “Show Log Window” button in the main Frost rollout.
Bug Fixes
This release fixes the known bugs in Frost 0.6.2.
- Animated radius Scale could incorrectly use invalid/random values
- Viewport Particle % failed for certain percentages
- Viewport cache would persist incorrectly, which would hide errors
- Fixed some issues related to empty and disabled particle sources
- Fixed an issue which caused Metaballs to create infinte channel values
