Newbie with Deadline - how to change Mongo DB server IP ?

I purchased Deadline a few months ago, I had two PC’s an Old one and a New one.

I managed to get Deadline to work for those two pc’s but no longer have the Old pc, instead I now have two New pcs.

I’ve installed Deadline Client onto the 2nd New pc, but I get an error message;

"Could not connect to any of the specified Mongo DB Servers (i9-7980;192.168.1.54). The following errors were encountered;

  • The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found
  • The connection attempt timed out"

Now, I know what the problem is, it’s the old IP address stored and which needs to be changed because I had to change all my IP addresses (due to purchasing a new Router which insisted on assigning IP ranges automatically).

So… my question is, how and where do I change that old Server IP address, 192.168.1.54 to the correct one for my new 2nd PC ?

there is a connection.ini file in the ‘settings’ folder of the repository, try changing the IP there
