no log for task

Weird issue… frame finished fine (after erroring a bunch of times). But the task logs only contain the errors, not the success…?

Also, the error logs that actually are there are all timeout errors, the job has a 15 min timeout set. But the machine that DID finish the tsak went on for 75 mins on each of these problem tasks…

Any insight?

Is it possible that the task was manually marked as complete? That wouldn’t produce a log report if it was.

You can check the job’s history log to see if this is the case.

Should we generate a log report to stop confusion for users in the future?
(and it contains a useful message informing who/when carried out this action?)
or leave it to the job history functionality?

I think the job history covers all that, so probably not necessary to add a log report for it.

I kinda agree with Mike, we really only open the history if something is fishy, and we want to track if anybody changed something they should not have.

The job logs are the logical, first (and only) place to check about how a task finished etc.
