Hi there,
We’ve just run an upgrade to our testing repo to 10.1 and I’m now unable to launch the Monitor; it’s erroring saying there’s no module named zlib. Any ideas what the problem might be?
Thanks
p.
I had the same problem after upgrading the repo.
Slaves all managed to update to the new version, but the monitor just gives the zlib error.
Manual reinstall sorted it.
What OS are you installing on?
I had a smooth update process on Server 2012 R2, the Windows 10 & Centos 7/8 Clients all went smoothly too.
Splash screens have gone very corporate and the ‘Slaves’ are now called ‘Workers’ (very PC). Seems to have the slave executable remaining though!
Hi had the same issue. If you don’t want to do a manual install you can copy the lib from a single manual install to the necessary directories of the other machines.
C:\Program Files\Thinkbox\Deadline10\bin\DLLs\zlib.pyd
This has been fixed in 10.1.0.12 (released today)
The missing file problem can only occur when autoupgrading from an install that was last clean installed before 10.0.21
