Either no particles get created, or they are all deleted, if the variation in the lifespan is 0, and ‘delete dead particles’ is on, in my test.
Thanks!

Confirmed.
In Stoke 1.0, there was a bug where LifeSnap Variation caused a lockup. That was fixed, but it looks like it is still not working. At least it does not hang Max.
Looking in the Particle Data Viewer, the LifeSpan ends up 0.0, so the KCM workaround does not work either (unless you hard-code the LifeSpan in the flow).
Please use a variation of 1 for now if that’s an option, and I will go log it as a bug again…
No prob. Actually it’s a problem if the variation is 0, it’s working fine if it’s not.
I swear I was typing “1” and somehow my brain went to “0”. I fixed my post.
Also, it is now fixed internally according to our Bug tracking system, but I have not tested it in a new build yet.
Ok, I got a build, tested it and it is working now.
I am off to upload it!
Cool!
