no Pulse - "Perform House Cleaning"

With NO Pulse running, I click on “Perform House Cleaning”, the console reports the following:

2013-09-05 15:59:00: Purging repository temp files
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Purging deleted jobs
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Purging limits
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Purging old job and slave reports
2013-09-05 15:59:00: purged 0 job report files
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Purging old job auxiliary files
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Purging old statistics
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Purging slave statistics that are older than May 08/13 15:59:00
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Purging repository statistics that are older than May 08/13 15:59:00
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Checking available Database connections
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Purging obsolete slaves
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Performing Job Repository Scan…
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Loading jobs
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Scanning jobs
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Done.
2013-09-05 15:59:00: Purging unsubmitted jobs

But, if I go to “Undelete Jobs”, they are still there! Also, my “\repopath/jobs/JOBID_DIRECTORIES” are not getting deleted when I delete a job form the queue and perform house cleaning. I was expecting the JobID directories containing data files, such as the Max files to get deleted!

Only jobs that have been deleted longer than the configured amount of time are purged during house cleaning. In the Job Settings in the Repository Options, there is a setting to control this called "Hours after a job is deleted before it is purged from the database).

The job’s auxiliary file folder and its contents are only deleted when the job is eventually purged. This is necessary to support the option to undelete jobs.

So in short, this is by design.

ah, yes, perfect! (Just tested and it works as you said!) The console panel was such a good idea! You get feedback on when you press a button and easy to report issues which otherwise might have been missed! Awesome!
