It would be nice if krakatoa supported non-orthagonal cameras. This is useful for camera-perspective correction and keystone correction in stereoscopic shots. Any technical reason this can’t be done?

Can you elaborate on what you mean by non-orthogonal cameras?

If you render with scanline, mental ray, brazil, vray, etc, you get a different camera projection than you do with Krakatoa.
