nrapi.dll (Network Render API) is a component of Backburner. I am not positive that this has anything to do with Krakatoa, but will have to ask the developers.
We don’t use Backburner for anything (I don’t even know what Backburner looks like! ;o), but Deadline uses some functions from it to ensure the Max installation is consistent.
Krakatoa should not require it, but something in the code might have created some dependency on it. Will try to learn more tomorrow.
Is Backburner correctly installed on your system? I think Max needs it to work properly
(On my machine, it is under C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Backburner)
Hey Bobo,
Yes, Backburner is installed here… as well as Deadline 2.7. In fact, I just tested a simple network job to Deadline and this error appears again… I’ll dig further.
