Hi guys,
The thread on AE CC was great and got me up and running quickly.
Is there a similar workaround for Nuke 8?
I tried adding the Nuke8 path into the Nuke7 plugin line but it still failed.
I’m using 6.0 / 6.1
Cheers

Doh! I’m looking to change the files in the wrong location!!!
Adding this line to Nuke.dlinit
RenderExecutable8_0=C:\Program Files\Nuke8.0v1\Nuke8.0.exe;C:\Program Files (x86)\Nuke8.0v1\Nuke8.0.exe;/usr/local/Nuke8.0v1/Nuke8.0;/Applications/Nuke8.0v1/Nuke8.0v1.app/Contents/MacOS/Nuke8.0v1
And adding to Nuke.param
[RenderExecutable8_0]
Type=multilinemultifilename
Category=Nuke 8 Render Executables
CategoryOrder=0
CategoryIndex=12
Label=Nuke 8.0 Render Executable
Default=C:\Program Files\Nuke8.0v1\Nuke8.0.exe;C:\Program Files (x86)\Nuke8.0v1\Nuke8.0.exe;/usr/local/Nuke8.0v1/Nuke8.0;/Applications/Nuke8.0v1/Nuke8.0v1.app/Contents/MacOS/Nuke8.0v1
Description=The path to the Nuke 8.0 executable file used for rendering. Enter alternative paths on separate lines.
Thanks to all that info in the AE CC thread for giving me clues how to figure that out!
I’m having to use the interactive licenses with this so not tested using render licenses, just assuming it works fine

Hello Ant,
Glad to hear that you got that working. I am told Nuke 8 support should be in the beta for 6.1 by the weekend, so if you want to try it fully supported, that’s they way to go.
Cheers Ant - this helped us out a lot.
