When submitting a nuke job with the option “Submit Each Write Node As A Seperate Job” only the frame number supplied in the “Frame List” option is submitted bypassing the individual write node frame ranges.
For example. If I had three write nodes in my nuke script each with different frame ranges (1-20, 100-200, 50-60) and I submit to deadline and enter a frame range 1-200 (to encompass all the frames) each job is submitted with ranges 1-200. In the write nodes I have limited the frame ranges so anything outside of that range will give an error in deadline.
The only way I have been able to work around this without wasting extra cycles on the render farm is to go into each submission in deadline monitor and change the frame range manually. This becomes cumbersome when there are many write nodes.
Is there a solution that I am missing?
