Hi,
we’re on Deadline 7.0.1.3 and just got the attached error message when trying to set dependencies in the Nuke submitter.
Any ideas what the problem might be?
Thanks!
Holger

So far, I’ve been unable to re-produce this issue.
This is the Deadline submitter within Nuke application and not the Nuke Submitter inside the Deadline Monitor?
I tested both and all seems well. Do you get the same issue when you click on “Limits” and/or “Machine List”? If so, then the call to deadlinecommand.exe must be failing, so either there is an issue with the Deadline client software not being installed correctly or perhaps, “DEADLINE_PATH” is missing from the system’s env variables? Perhaps re-install client software and/or check in a shell console the output of: “set DEADLINE_PATH”? Does it return the correct local path to ./deadlinecommand?
It should return:
DEADLINE_PATH=C:\Program Files\Thinkbox\Deadline7\bin
Hi Mike,
first of all, the env variable is set. I just checked with “echo %deadline_path%”. It does show “C:\Program Files\Thinkbox\Deadline7\bin”.
Second - and that’s the strange thing - when we just tried again to also check the “Machine List” and “Limits”, it all worked.
I didn’t change/install any system or software updates. So i have no idea what might have caused this.
I’ll let you know in case we stumble upon it again.
Thanks,
Holger
