What’s up with the OS X Installers?
They seem to stall on machines without monitors attached. If I remote desktop into a machine and click around, browse some drives, it seems to help it along. This has been an issue with all the 6.x versions so far. Happens on 10.7/10.8/10.9.
Is it related to this problem, which I’m having too? viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11827
Thanks

Hi
I haven’t tried 6.2 yet but we’ve had problems with osx installer hanging on slaves without monitor for quite some time. Minimizing and maximizing the installer window usually nudges the progress bar forward.

Hello,
I don’t think it’s AppNap related, but it could be an issue we’ve had for awhile where the progress bar won’t move properly unless there is a window in front of the install window. It doesn’t always happen, but it’s worth a try as a simple fix. Let us know how that goes.
