Hi,
Modo 701 (Beta SP1 : 12)
OSX 10.8.2
Deadline 6 :50841
There appears to be a windowing level and focus issue when submitting a job from within Modo on OSX.
When submitting a job to deadline from within Modo, a finder window pops up centre screen to allow navigation to the deadline script.
Running the script brings up the submission window, also centre screen and behind the still open Modo finder window which can no longer be moved. If you can submit a job, a further success window opens at the bottom of the stack unseen and prevents closing of any of the windows above it. Force quitting either Modo or Mono is the only way forward.
On the first occasion I ran the script, neither deadline submission nor modo finder would move and I had to force quit Modo to escape.
Next time, I moved the Modo finder window when it popped up and also moved the deadline submission window and was able to submit a job and close the success window… after this, the deadline window opens in the new moved location, but the finder window and the success window still open centre screen, with the success screen behind the finder window and grabbing focus… and so again you need to force quit either Modo or Mono to continue. Yes, hitting return will also work, but not intuitive when you can’t actually see the window that is causing the problem
I suspect you are already aware of this issue, though didn’t find a bug on the forum.
