I thought this was amusing. I was trying to see what gets called when you change the load percentage spinner. So I used to often forgotten code-browse feature (ctrl-rightclick) to see all the “on blank do” events. You can see here how complex the krakatoa gui is. This is a screen capture from dual monitors at 1920x1080.
With half of the rollouts now moved out of the GUI floater, I intend to start moving some of the code to separate MS files.
That being said, I have no trouble navigating and editing the KrakatoaGUI.ms file at this point.
I ended up just searching for the text in the spinner. It’s very complex but it’s very organized and thorough. The end result is a lot of clutter for the user to see, but I’m not sure what I would do differently. I’m partial to visual hierarchies. The sizes and shapes of the controls become a sense-memory. Subtle touches like button colors, and rollout groupings help. Right now the rollout titles blend into the buttons above and below. That might just be my color scheme.
