How does Deadline get the output folder/path? Does it read this directly from each vrscene file?
I took a quick glance, and I believe it lets V-Ray decide where the output goes (itâs baked into their scene file), since specifying 1 override path for two or more files can lead to conflicts.
In certain workflows (selecting âRenderable on AWSâ) we do actually parse the scene file(s) for this information, but not by default as it can take a decent amount of time. I also believe that it doesnât parse every scene file in that list, so if you want to have any more customization over the output Iâd recommend doing separate jobs per scene file, unless youâre using the âSeparate Input Vrscene Files Per Frameâ option.
