pinned layouts - crash

I was playing around with the repository layouts, and switching between them quickly crashed the monitor. I did 2 layouts, tried switching, crash.

Nothing in the deadline log, but found this in the event viewer:

Hmm, I can’t seem to reproduce this here. I tried using the mouse to quickly click between different layouts, and I used the keyboard shortcuts to do it really quickly. On that note though, I discovered that the CTRL+SHIFT keyboard shortcuts for the pinned layouts stored in the repository options was broken, so at least that will be fixed in the next beta.

If you want i could send over the layouts that i was using, although they are not all that complicated

That would be great! It could just be something specific about the layouts.

I cant get the ctrl-shift-# shortcuts to work…

The ctrl-# shortcuts work though, but those are just for local layouts.

I couldnt crash it since btw. One thing i did notice is that in my original layout, i had 2 task panels in tabs on the right. I saved it to the pinned menu, and when i restored it, the two panels did not show in one as two separate tabs, but as two separate panels. Maybe it was somehow getting mixed up on that…

Yeah, I mentioned they were broken in an earlier reply. :slight_smile: It will be fixed in beta 8.

I’m seeing similar behavior here too. We’ll try to figure this one out.
