it does not seem to work at all right now. Tried the slave scheduled start last night, but none of the slaves turned on.
OS is mixed win7 and xp

Power management uses the same system and the remote control commands, which you had reported problems with too:

Power Management SHOULD be working, so just go over the checks I mentioned in that thread. Once your Remote Control is working, Power Management should work too.
I set the client setup / remote admin to be on, and made sure that pulse is running.
I get this in the pulse log window:
Checking Friday settings for scheduling group “Laszlo”
- slave is offline on machine VCPRO1014 and needs to be started
Yet nothing happens. My firewall is turned off and launcher is running.
It seems like it doesn’t work until we manually start/stop all of our slaves once. Our log says “shutting down …” for all the machines and nothing happens. If I do remote control then they shut down. If they start back up from the power management then they’ll shut down properly. It’s a little wonky.
We’ll be running more tests a little later on in the beta (probably in the next few weeks). We’ll try to reproduce these problems and remove any wonkiness that we come across!
