Problem slave.

Hi,



I’ve got a slave (Win XP64) that won’t render Max 8 scene files with DeadLine 2.6. Started having the problem after upgrading from 2.5



It keeps reporting ->



“Could not retrieve the version of 3ds max from C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\3dsMax8\core.dll”



My other slaves work fine. Including another Win XP64 machine.



Any ideas?

Sorry, correction. I get this on all my slaves, but mostly on that one above.



It has now rendered some frames. So I don’t know whats wrong.

Hi Mathew,



Try this patch. Just unzip the attached file to \your\repository\plugins\3dsmax8. Make sure to backup the files you are overwriting, just to be safe.

Someone had a similar issue with the same error message being displayed, so this patch might fix the problem.
