problem to connect a slave

hi guys,

I tried to connect a second slave to the repositiory, but no chance.
the repositiory and the first slave is on machine 1
both apps did a gread job the last few month.
now I plan to build up a bigger renderfarm, and tried to connect a second slave (installed on machine2), to test the workflow.

machine2 ist connected to machine1 both vista 64. the repository share permission is for everyone! read / write …
on machine2, the repository server is on path : network //machine1/deadlinerepository

the config display shows: //machine1/deadlineRepository (repository not found)

on machine1 I can´t see my slave from machine2

but all network settings are correct. I can see under vista on each machine the other machine.

whats wrong?

On machine2, what happens when you open up Windows Explorer and try to browse “\machine1\deadlinerepository”? Can you connect without having to enter your credentials? Also, have you tried using ‘’ instead of ‘/’ in the network path (ie: \machine1\deadlinerepository instead of //machine1/deadlinerepository)?
