Problem:Vue2015 can not render.

Dear Team!

Test Maya max and c4dR17 render all ok.(Use deadline 7.2.3)

The use of rendercow(vue2015) network can also render.

But use deadline(7.2.3) can not network render vue2015. :confused:

How to solve this problem?

Hello,

That error would seem to indicate that when we tried to run the application, it died saying it couldn’t get a license/serial number. I would recommend contacting the developer of Vue and see if they have any suggestions on why that error would be happening.

I did notice the path you have to the executable is different than the defaults we have, which are:

C:\Program Files\e-on software\Vue RenderNode 2015\Application\Vue Infinite RenderNode.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\e-on software\Vue RenderNode 2015\Application\Vue Infinite RenderNode.exe
C:\Program Files\e-on software\Vue RenderNode 2015 PLE\Application\Vue Infinite RenderNode.exe

Could this have an effect? Do you know what the difference is between those and the one you used, “C:/Program Files/e-on software/Vue xStream 2015/Application/RenderNode.exe”?

I think,If the program can ignore the licenseServer.xml check, whether the normal network rendering?

Vue network rendering requires a license. So, if no serial number is entered or present in the local machine’s configuration, then I would expect network rendering to fail here. Was Vue technical support able to help you resolve this issue?

1、Vue2015 has been installed in the normal input registration code.
2、But use Vue’s Rendercow network can also rendering.
3、Import the Vue scene file into the 3dsmax,Can also be normal network rendering.

So, I think the problem is still in deadline7.2.3.

I don’t think having Deadline ignore the error will get you much further, but I’ve been wrong before! :smiley:

Can you try running this from the command line with the correct path to your view project?

“C:/Program Files/e-on software/Vue xStream 2015/Application/RenderNode.exe” -file “vue2015-0-300.vue” -range 0 0

It should show if you would have gotten output or not.
