So it almost seems like somewhere in the process, those % are being escaped of something. Can I have you run this job with mayabatch turned off, if it isn’t already, and then save a job report from it and send it over as an attachment? Thanks!

This appears to be the wrong log, as it still shows Mayabatch is being run: Render Executable: “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2014\bin\MayaBatch.exe”. Can you verify the job is being run using the MayaCMD plugin? The best way is to submit with the Mayabatch checkbox disabled. Thanks.

Just to let you know, this issue is now all fixed and will be available in Deadline v6.2 beta 7.
You can get on beta as an existing customer by contacting beta@thinkboxsoftware.com and with a returned signed NDA, you will have access to the beta builds.
Thanks for reporting the issue. I would highly recommend getting your Deadline upgraded to at least the public v6.1 release if not the v6.2 beta release, if you are looking at using the open beta version of VRay v3.0 in production? There have been many changes/fixes/enhancements across the Maya plugin & submission scripts and we will be able to turn-around fixes specifically for VRay v3.0 quicker if we know that you are already running the latest version. Please note that both v6.1 and v6.2 will require a newer license (free if on annual support).

We’ve been testing 6.1 for compatibility with our in house addons. Now I’ll push to get 6.2 beta and test with that, skipping 6.1.
