Yesterday i´ve heard that FFMPEG can now write ProRes on Windows for the first time.
So i did a bit of googling and found this:

If we would like to encode to ProRes on win with draft, is it possible with the current version?
I am sure A LOT of people would be stoked if you make this a reality!

Not currently, but if it’s just a matter of upgrading to the latest FFmpeg version and have Draft map to the codec then I might put that in a future build. No promises though.

I reckon this is actually quite a big deal for some studios. A good win for Draft in Deadline me thinks…
+1000 for ProRes, we have to send this to our Creative Dir’s laptop whenever a client asks for a proRes since we’re all PC.
