Hi, I noticed that the particles loaded with PRT Loader disappear in a few situations:
-
If you have a personalized camera at first time, you need to pass trought the perspective view and came back to the new camera to view the particles.
-
If you drag the time slider, the particles disappear instantly,
These problems exist but not always, sometimes work fine, it’s extrange.
All this stuff runs on Maya 2012 x64 SAP with a Quadro FX4800.
Best
That seems odd. I’ve tried creating a camera, looking though that camera, then adding a PRT Loader. Changing the time slider also appears to work fine on my test computer.
Are you using a sequence of prt files?
Do you have a step-by-step that I could try to reproduce what you’re seeing?
Hi Bobo,
Yes, is a sequence of prt files.
The most times occurs when you click on the time slider in a random frame with emitted particles, now if you click in one with no particles emitted and turns to other frame but in this case with particles emitted, the particles or the prt loader don’t refresh the displayed particles, but in the particles count and in the render exist.
The only thing that all my sequences have in common is all starts on frame 90 or up and never on frame 0 or 1.
