prt source in 2012 hitting some assert

I’m testing my IMaxKrakatoaPRTSource plugin in 2012 and now I’m getting these non fatal assertions (max dialog pops up: continue, ignore, ignore all, “save and quit”).

I see it even if I only have a prt volume in the scene. Some kind of clean up problem internally?

I tested the whole IMaxKrakatoaPRTSource::Stream life time and I get no assertions. Only after the render finishes do I see the issue.
BTW this is the debug build of max 2012, both win32 and x64.
