prt1.1

I use build0.3.0.
prt ver1.1 data which exported from sequoia cannot read in Krakatoa or frost 3dsmax sometime.
Some data cannot read completely.
But some data can read in Krakatoa, but cannot read in frost directly(can use Krakatoa loader for meshing in that case).

How did you export the PRT file? For example, using the File -> Export Scene Data menu item, or Batch -> Export Point Objects…, or Deadline -> Export Points on Deadline? My guess is that something in Sequoia is accidentally exporting an SPRT or PRT 2 file, instead of the PRT 1.1 file that you asked for.

Would it be possible for you to please send us a PRT file that’s causing problems in 3ds Max?

hi Paul,
I used File -> Export Scene Data menu.
So, I attached prt file. This file cannot read both of Krakatoa and Frost.
problem-prt.rar (384 MB)

Thank you! I have reproduced the problem, and we will look into this.

Just a note that the latest versions of Krakatoa MX can read PRT2 and SPRT files from Sequoia just fine, in fact build 2.4.2 lists the supported formats in the PRT Loader’s file dialog already (other formats include E57, PTG, PTS, PTX etc.).

This is so nice!!
BTW, when will you release I/O library for PRT2 and sprt??

It is on our ToDo list, but it might be shortly after the release of Sequoia v1.0.
We have the PRT v2 specification documentation nearly finished, too.
