The PRTVolume viewport spacing checkbox isn’t working, or rather, when the box is unchecked, the viewport spacing cannot be changed. It does not use the Spacing value.

Confirmed. Changing the spinner should trigger an update of the viewport cache, but it does not.
Current workaround - hit the Manual Update button.
