I am having a gripe about Magma noise not having a phase option, so I figured I do the best I can to mitigate the problem, and I need that phasing magma noise all the time! So check this out:

The basic idea is that the noise is producing a wide band of values. But you can take a narrow band, and sweep it around the wide one. Then add some offset of the position/textureCoord that you use for a seed, and the result is not too bad at all! It’s still not a true phase, but it can do not repeatable oscilations very easily.
