Would be great if the time&date of the ‘last housecleaning’ and ‘last pending job scan’ were reported via the monitor.
Sometimes we get one of these stuck, and only notice hours / day later when stuff already has built up enough

I like that idea, although it might be preferable to show this information somewhere else, since the housecleaning and pending job scans can be performed by the slave or from a monitor as well. In Deadline 7, we’re actually storing the last time these operations were performed in the database, so it would be trivial to get that information.
The question is where to show this information though, since it’s not really applicable to any existing panels, but might be overkill to have its own…
I was thinking in the bottom left corner of the Status Bar and something like this?
Last Pending Job Scan: [machineName]:60s Last House Cleaning: [machineName]:60s
and if the time > repository options configured + a threshold?, then change the background to RED? The wording probably needs to be shorten as it will take up too much space. Perhaps, provide some of the detail in the message such as the [machineName] in a tooltip?
The status bar is a good idea. Thanks Mike!
