You don’t need to purchase licenses for Deadline since version 10.1.15 if you need only 4 - we increased the number of free render nodes from 2 to 10 in this version. Simply download the installers and deploy for free. However, you must have (or create) an Amazon customer account to access the downloads page.

No, if you have 14 servers, you need 14 licenses. The first 10 do not count against a purchase. They are INSTEAD of a purchase for small farms with up to 10 render nodes.
