quick fume / pflow / krakatoa test

you used Fume to drive the particles swirling? looks good!






very well done! i really like the fracturing at all.



how did you achieve that the char breaks apart so dynamic? i suppose it wasn´t done with deflectors…maybe age test with higer variation?

Heya Anselm - the particles were birthed on a mesh using position object and lock on emitter, then using an age test they were passed on to a lock /bond operator from box #1 sticking them to the same mesh object. the difference was that this operator had “the break off when exceeds” speed option turned on so that the quicker moving parts of the body threw off their particles first which then went into a collision operator and bouncing. I just got a copy of thinking particles too so it can fracture a deforming mesh as it animates - should look a good bit nicer!

already thought of something like that! nice effect with the “the break off when exceeds”. gives nice randomness.
