So we just upgraded to 2.5 finally. Its working great. We had one idea for the quicktime generation (which is great). We were thinking it would be cool to have a project once its done have the option of automatically making a quicktime out of rendered frames. This would be all optional to the user. But maybe just a check box that says "Create Quicktime of Rendered Frames" and then it would ask for the settings and when the project completely hits 100% complete it would kick off an automatic quictime generation of the frames. Just a thought.

you do have the option now of adding a post script through the deadline monitor to automatically run the generate quicktime script when the render is completed. Do you want to have a checkbox in the job submission window?

This feature has been on our wishlist for a while now. Now that we have the generic QT plugin available, it seems like this is a good time to finally add the feature.
We would just add a checkbox to the submission dialogs, which would ask for some QT specific settings, and then submit a second job which is dependent on the first.
I’m not sure if the feature will make it into the next release, but we see it as a near term addition.
Cheers,
