Read error: Operation not permitted

Hi Guys,

Deadline: version 6
Nuke: version 7.0v9

We have a problem rendering nuke projects that have unlinked read nodes

Error in RenderTasks: [12:21.50] ERROR: RND_BTY_v000_5: /Volumes/WORKING/: Read error: Operation not permitted

Is there a way to ignore this error and carry on with the render?

Hi,
We could tell Nuke to ignore all "ERROR: " messages, but this wouldn’t be a great idea as you wouldn’t know about other future error messages/issues?
In some ways, we want the job to fail, so that the error reports are created, the job is failed, the farm continues to process other jobs (like in the middle of the night, when nobody is there).
Perhaps, it would be better to consider writing a studio specific custom Sanity Check script, which can check and stop/warn your artists before submitting a Nuke script with this issue?

Indeed, not a good idea to ignore all error messages.
I will ask our TDs to script an extra Sanity Check for that.
