Hope everyone is healthy and doing everything possible to stay healthy. Since lot of us are working from home, I was wondering how are you guys submitting jobs on deadline remotely ? What is your current work flow ? For the last few months the artists are working remotely on their local workstation at home. Since our VPN access to out Fileserver at office is not broad enough, the render wrangler receives an email from the artist with the nuke script attached.
The wrangler who is also working remotely, logs in using the VPN to a workstation at the office. runs a script in nuke to map the read/writes to the file server and submits the job.
This is taking a toll on him and dailies are not on time.
What would be a good work around or an ideal solution ?
