renders different

I am testing deadline in my company, the most we use, are still images, not animations
i found out, in this particulary case.
That the render, produce differently from local render, and the one launch by deadline

I even tested rendering remotely, on the same machine, to see, if there is something wrong with the machine


Can you tell us more about how you are producing the images? Which OS and Deadline version, which rendering software, how you are submitting the work, are any light caches used, etc.?

I’m using windows 7 in all computers, deadline, is 6.1 the last one.
Render software 3dmax 2013 64bits, vray 2.4

Submitting thru SMTD.
The light cache is render localy with the image.

I notice know that the setting i’m using on render setup, does not go equal to the job properties on deadline.

In this case particulary, i found out that i’m using LC with World scale.
Deadline does not reconize that, and render with LC screen scale.

Other setting like DMC threshould, are changed equaly.
Render setup is 0,007 and deadline use 0,01

Do you have any ideia

I’ve worked out what the issue is and I’m just working on a fix for this now. However, I need to make sure I don’t introduce any other issues, so I need to do quite a bit of comparison work this afternoon. I should have the fix in the next few hours.

I have responded directly via your support ticket which you submitted with the 2 patched files to resolve these issues. These fixes will be included in the next release - Deadline v6.2.
