Renders failing to start - libpng error

Hi! I’m wondering if anyone else has run into this issue…

We’re running VRAY and C4D on our 18-node Deadline setup. When we start jobs that have bigger textures (PNG’s and JPG’s exceeding 10mb) some nodes crash while initializing. They will sit in a perpetual crashed state until the OS dialog box is closed. The log typically states the following:

0: STDOUT: libpng error: Read Error

If we keep our file sizes under 10mb the node crashing goes away.

Anyone else having issues with bigger file sizes in Deadline?

Can I ask if you have tried to run those larger files outside of Deadline, either at the command line or at the UI? I’m curious if there is something in C4D or V-Ray that could be causing this.
