In the console pane, can the text selection mode be changed to match the Job Reports pane (i.e. character-level instead of line-level)?
We can add this to the wish list. The console panel and slave log both use the same underlying control, so we would really only have to make the change in one spot. Just not sure how much “work” that change will be.

Oh, thanks for reminding me. I knew there was another pane somewhere that had line-level selection, and I was going to request it be changed as well, but I couldn’t remember what it was. So yeah, they could still use the same widget or whatnot, but that widget would be changed. 
Just wanted to see if this made it into 7.0
It didn’t. 7.0 is essentially feature locked at this point as we continue to focus on bugs.
It’s still on the wishlist though.
