No. The way it works now was easiest to write. We could do it some other way if you’d like – I guess the next easiest would be to add a “Refresh” button for the device list.
For now, note that you don’t need to restart max – File->Reset works too (or anything else that deletes all of the Kinect objects).
great. i have 3 devices working now - i needed a new usb driver for the 3rd device to function properly. they seem to interfere a little bit/
i sent an email - as i would like to improve the quality of the image. looking on youtube, there seems the ability to garner more detail out of the images than we currently have… not sure if its your approach for clipping data, the fact that the image sampling is 1:1 to piel [rather than higher], the pixel /vertex size in max or what. i’m hoping you can get the pixel-size slider/value in asap so i can better determine what i might be losing image-wise
