Hi Thinkbox,
Deadline Version: 6.1.0.54178 R
FranticX Version: 2.0.0.54175 R
Windows 7 64-bit
I’ve been testing Dependencies to see how a secondary job will react when the initial job is deleted.
It seems that a job which is dependent on a non-existent job will begin rendering immediately.
The job can be non-existent due to the job id being fictitious, or due to the job having actually existed but since been deleted.
This works for my purposes, but I was surprised to notice that there was a “Resume on Deleted Dependencies” checkbox on the Job Properties menu.
The secondary jobs would kick off when this box was unchecked. Seemed like something worth reporting.
Best,
Sally Slade
