It seems that resume on deleted dependencies does not work in deadline7.
The jobs stay in pending mode.

This is a known issue that affects Pulse running on non-windows systems, and will be fixed in the upcoming 7.0.2 release, which should be out this week.
RC2 of these release is already available on the beta forums, and includes this fix:

Out of curiosity, if you manually run the pending job scan from the Monitor, does the job dependent on the deleted one get released?

I think it would have worked because as i was playing with restarting pulse, during one of its downtimes a slave did a dependency check and queued the job.
